Southeast Florida's Finest Live Entertainment

Mize Music, which operates as a division of DBM Engineering Inc., brings together experienced musicians and live acts designed for different event styles and audiences. From classic rock tributes and country performances to full party bands and intimate duos, our artists provide live entertainment that fits concerts, weddings, corporate gatherings, festivals, and private events. Whether you need the sound of The Eagles and Doobie Brothers with The Limit, 90s country favorites with Only in America, Southern Rock classics with Legacy of the South, or a smaller live setup with Troubadours, Mize Music helps create the right atmosphere for your event.

The Limit: Eagles & Doobie Brothers Tribute

A classic rock tribute needs more than familiar songs. The vocals, guitar parts, harmonies, and stage delivery must stay true to the music people came to hear. The Limit brings the excitement of The Eagles and Doobie Brothers to your stage. This 5-piece assembly includes some of the top musicians in Southeast Florida, with every member bringing big-stage experience to the venue. Members have toured and performed with Sheena Easton, Atlanta Rhythm Section, .38 Special, and others. The band performs well-known songs including “Hotel California,” “New Kid in Town,” “Best of My Love,” “China Grove,” “Listen to the Music,” and many more.

The Limit band lineup features Del Mize on guitar, slide guitar, lap steel, and harmonica, Michael Jewell on keys and vocals, Kevin Beck on bass and vocals, and Tom Tennies on guitar and vocals. Formed in 2023, we recreate Eagles and Doobie Brothers songs with original-style vocal and guitar harmonies.

Only in America: Brooks & Dunn Tribute

For a 90s country event, the music has to give people songs they know from the first few notes. Only in America is the definitive Brooks & Dunn Tribute show. A 7-piece assembly of country musicians from Southeast Florida, the band includes members who have toured and performed with national artists such as Willie Nelson, Conway and Michael Twitty, Trace Adkins, and others. The show brings a Boot Scootin good time to 90s country events.

The set includes “Boot Scootin Boogie,” “My Maria,” and “Believe” by Brooks & Dunn. A Reba McEntire or Garth Brooks impersonator can also be added as an option, with songs such as “Fancy,” “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia,” and “Turn On the Radio.”

The show works well when guests want recognizable 90s country songs and an active live performance that keeps the event moving.

For audiences looking for more guitar-driven Southern music, Legacy of the South takes the stage next.

Legacy of the South: Southern Rock Tribute

Southern rock audiences often want a wider song catalog that reaches beyond one artist. Legacy of the South is an 8-piece tribute to the golden era of the genre, covering music associated with The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Little Feat, and more.

The group includes members of The Limit, giving event organizers another live music format while keeping experienced musicians on stage. Its Southern rock set works well when the audience wants guitar-led songs, recognizable vocals, and music connected to several major bands from the era.

For events centered more on dancing than a broad Southern rock catalog, Higher Ground changes the format again.

Higher Ground: 90s Country Line Dance

Line dance events depend on steady timing, familiar country music, and a band that can keep people moving through the set. Higher Ground is one of the top-rated and 4-piece line dance bands featuring members of Only in America.

The smaller lineup gives hosts a practical live music option while keeping musicians already connected to a full Brooks & Dunn tribute production. Higher Ground delivers the same caliber of musicianship at a price point that works for a wider range of events.

When the event calls for a larger lineup and stronger concert-style presence, The Big EZ takes the next position in the roster.

The Big EZ: Classic Rock & Country

Large gatherings can lose energy when the music feels too small for the room or crowd. The Big EZ is a 9-piece band with a powerhouse Classic Rock and Country sound, a tight rhythm section, and lead vocalists who command the stage. The Groove Foundation turns any event into a full concert experience.

Its larger band format gives event planners an option for functions where live music is expected to be a main part of the program. The mix of rock and country also gives the group room to work across different guest tastes without moving into a tribute-only format.

Not every event has room for nine musicians. Troubadours closes that gap with a much smaller setup.

Troubadours: Two-Piece Duo

Intimate venues often have limited stage room, lower sound requirements, and a guest list that suits a smaller live act. Troubadours is a 2-piece duo created for spaces where a full band does not fit.

The duo performs classic rock, country, and many well-known hits in a compact format. That makes Troubadours useful for hosts who still want live vocals and instruments without building the event around a large stage setup.

DBM Engineering Inc. can help connect the right band format with the event setting, music direction, and audience. For artist and band information or booking details, call (954) 817-2144.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What should I consider when choosing a live band for an event?

Choosing a live band starts with understanding your event style, audience, and the type of music you want guests to experience. The right band should fit the venue size, event purpose, and overall atmosphere. We work with different band formats, including tribute bands, classic rock groups, country acts, and smaller duos. Each option has its own sound, lineup size, and performance style.

A band’s experience helps create a more confident and engaging performance for different event settings. Musicians with touring and live stage backgrounds understand timing, audience connection, and performance flow. This is why groups like The Limit include musicians who have toured or performed with artists such as Sheena Easton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Trace Adkins. Once the experience level is clear, the next consideration is choosing the music style that fits your guests.

The right music style depends on the guests, event type, and the feeling you want the performance to create. Different bands provide different experiences, from classic rock tributes to 90s country and Southern rock. The Limit delivers Eagles and Doobie Brothers classics, while Only in America focuses on Brooks & Dunn tribute performances. Legacy of the South covers Southern Rock favorites, and Higher Ground brings 90s country line dance music. After choosing a style, event planners can focus on selecting the right band size.

Yes, band size matters because it affects stage space, sound needs, and how the performance fits within the venue. Smaller events may work better with a duo, while larger gatherings may benefit from a full ensemble. DBM Engineering Inc. supports options ranging from Troubadours, a 2-piece duo, to larger groups like The Big EZ, a 9-piece band. After considering size, the next step is matching the band with the type of event being planned.

Live bands can fit many events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, festivals, private parties, and community events. The best choice depends on the audience, venue, and entertainment goals. Once the event type is clear, booking details become easier to organize.

Booking a live band early helps secure the preferred group, date, and event format. Popular bands and tribute acts may have limited availability because of performances and scheduled appearances. DBM Engineering Inc. recommends discussing event details, venue requirements, and music preferences before confirming a booking. Sharing information about the date, location, guest size, and desired style helps create a smoother planning process for the live entertainment experience.

Some bands can make basic introductions, announcements, or scheduled cues if this role is agreed upon beforehand. We confirm what the performer is comfortable handling before the event begins.
Detailed hosting duties may require a separate emcee rather than a musician. Clear role planning keeps announcements organized without interfering with the performance.
